Heat treatment in welding processes
Heat treatment in welding processes covers preheating before welding and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), with the aim of reducing stresses, preventing cracks and ensuring the required properties of the material and the welded joints.
The process is carried out by electrical resistance, with the temperature precisely controlled according to the material type, wall thickness and the technical requirements of the project. The machines used allow the diagram to be monitored and printed, ensuring full process control and a documented record of the achieved heat-treatment parameters.
